I design for people rather like you
For fifteen years I have been creating and redefining brands, helping my clients stand out and be more successful.
For fifteen years I have been creating and redefining brands, helping my clients stand out and be more successful.
I'm David Nolan, a freelance graphic and web designer with a keen eye for UX and a thoughtful, 'ideas first' approach to solving problems. My six years as art director at several London agencies sharpened my ability to harness original thinking to communicate the essential aspects of a product or service.
I set up Brightspark in 2007 for the opportunity to work with like-minded people who love what they do as much as I do. Projects cover a broad range of disciplines including brand identity, websites, print collateral, packaging and integrated campaigns. I avoid specialising in a specific industry to ensure each day is wide open to surprise and challenge. This means my client list is an eclectic mix of established businesses, startups, third sector and larger agencies.
After several years slow travelling around the world while running Brightspark I settled on a base by the sea in Whitstable, Kent with my wife and two children. Away from the studio I occasionally give in to the urge to perform close up magic or brush off my fine art degree with a spot of portrait sketching.
I’m a friendly sort, I know the importance of good communication and you’ll find me very easy to work with. More importantly than all of the above, I get stuff done.
