Decoressence Design

Decoressence is a London based, interior decorating and home services company run by decoration guru, Andrea Roth. Andrea approached me to create an identity from scratch and to design a website that would showcase the Decoressence talent, flair and efficiency.

The first step was to create the logo. Andrea was looking for something that would illustrate the feminine slant to the business and convey an elegant yet powerful image. I developed a selection of concepts which we discussed and analysed. Following on from this feedback I evolved one of the versions and the result is below:-

With the logo established, work began on the website. Andrea provided some excellent photography which we both felt should feature strongly in the layout. The acid green of the logo was brought in to the main body of the site with a bold stripe and the vibrancy of the photography was complemented by a rich, dark, luxuriously patterned backdrop.
