  • Pitch Control

Living Streets research, advise and deliver positive, practical solutions covering pedestrian issues. They invited me to pitch for a new campaign called ‘Fitter for Walking’. It aims to encourage people to walk more and to take an active interest in improving their local, public spaces. As a result of this pitch I have been asked to begin work on a related project which I’m very excited about. I’ll fill you in on all the details as we progress.

In the meantime, I thought it may be interesting to take a glimpse at how I approach pitch work with a short, behind the scenes peek.

As with every project, I spent a great deal of time analysing the brief and brainstorming ideas. You can read a bit more about my design process here.

I devised several logos to crystalise the overall concept and to tie in with the current branding for Living Streets. Two versions are shown below:-

I provided a detailed proposal, covering each element of the campaign and explained how I felt it could work together as a cohesive, effective whole. I created illustrations with a point-by-point breakdown of each section. A few examples of illustrations can be seen below:-
